I CAN’T!!!
At first I was livid, esp at the cancer statement {I’m sorry but in my book cancer isn’t natural} then I just realized these are kids. Kids who are in high school and will wear the exact same brand of jeans that everyone else wears just so they don’t stand out. Kids who are scared to be in their own skin. I was that kid, heck who doesn’t want to fit in and be liked? They also have no idea how stupid they sound, I mean I don’t care for locs on caucasian folk, but I don’t go around blogging about it. If they like it, and they are happy, they can dye it blue and tie it in a bow, I’m happy they’re happy! People who have to blog and speak negativity to a group of people trying to embrace who they are naturally, have issues in themselves. I don’t blog about natural hair to demean girls who still have relaxers or to even say that my hair is better than anyones, I just love my hair and think everyone should love their hair. If you don’t like it, keep it to yourself, and avoid people with hair like that. [Also I’m going to need some people to get on their parenting game, seriously.]
